OMFG.

i had the best damn day of my life!

hey guys!!
im sorry i had to type out the review this late.
cause last night after the concert i reached home pretty late and i have to attend school today~
Friggin tired now.
only had 3 hours of sleep. zzzzzz

BUT!I WILL AND MUST TYPE OUT THIS REVIEW!
cause its really important to me

i wore my class tee, which has this "I <3 37" at the front.
so i pasted an "AVRIL" over the 37.
and it became "I <3 AVRIL"
haha
Remember the presents i made for avril? the small guitar and cards to avril and her band from singapore bandaids.
well, i managed to contact the winner of the Best Damn Dance Competition [called "Styles From Beyond" go check them out!] who won the Meet and Greet to see Avril.
so i was supposed to meet the guy at 2pm to pass him the stuff

reached the stadium at 1.47pm [SUPERRRRR EARLY]
and received a msg frm the guy saying that they're going to come at 3pm instead.
zzzzz
so i waited and waited for time to fly~
then My NEW MADE friend named Khadijah, came and met me. cus she wanted her stuff signed by avril.
then not long later alina came too

there was a backstage entrance which was being blocked off, so we made went there and waited, hoping to catch avril later when she arrives.
apparently, the guy from Styles From Beyond arrived at only 4.36pm.
though i waited long, i had fun chatting with alina and khadijah, since we were all Avril fans

so yea, passed my stuff, hope she'll APPRECIATE THEM!

I had a promo paper with a pic of avril with it.
at the back, i wrote " To Marilyn:"
i was hoping Avril could write me a personal msg.

not long after, the rest of the bandaiders who were at the airport the other day, including my SPECIAL TURKEY FRIEND EMRE!! started to arrive at the stadium too

TIME SERIOUSLY FLIES FAST.
soon, it was like 1 and a half more hours to the start of the concert.
and i bought only 2 stuff frm the merch shop.the tour tee and the Girlfriend Comic.

I thanked the guys from Styles From Beyond in a msg, they msged me back and told me that they heard Avril went for a massage!
and they'll inform me when she's coming.
but we cldnt wait d:

then when the time was nearing to the BEST DAMN CONCERT, the few of us (stef,ym,alina,emre, khadijah and me) went back to the backstage entrance again.

THIS TIME WE WERE REALLY LUCKY!
we saw the white vans that drove Avril and her Crew out of the airport the other day!
so we immediately knew they were here!
then slowly,
Steve came out, Al, Steve, Jim.
when Rodney came i shouted his name and he waved!
cause we missed him at the airport.
haha.
then we saw sofi!
AND SHE REMEMBERS US FROM THE AIRPORT so nice of her

then
we waited
and waited
and waited.

it was almost 8pm.
Avril was still not there yet.
we havnt seen her coming out of the van or anything and we really had to go.
so in the end we entered the stadium without seeing avril.

THE OPENING:

i joined yel and fly who were already at their seats then the lights went off.
EVERYONE SCREAMED!
haha. apparently they were expecting Avril, but i knew Styles From Beyond were gonna perform, and so was another band (Pervy Boy) which i heard the singer really LOVE avril.

STYLES FROM BEYOND WAS AWESOME, their dance ROCK like hell!
i took a horrible vid of them d:
but the crowd sucked.
they jeered when the singer of Pervy Boy asked if we would want to hear another song.
in the end yel, fly and i cheered for them

there was a long break after the opening, the lights came on. everyone got restless.

THEN, after a super long wait..

it all went black.
the crowd started to CHEER!

echoing "AVRIL AVRIL AVRIL AVRIL!"

then the band came on stage in the dark.
AND IT WENT BANG!
and I COULD HEAR THE RHYTHM AND GUITARS OF GIRLFRIEND!

then in the dark,

came Avril's voice "HELLO SINGAPORE!"

omfg, i cldnt believe it man!

it was AWESOME!!!
i guess Lindsey really left, i dint see her on stage dancing with sofi
i was at row 14, but being short
*erhems*
i couldnt really get a good view when everyone in front stood up
haha.
so i couldnt tell u much bout girlfriend.
just that
IT
WAS
TOTALLY
FUN
AND
FRIGGING
AWESOME.

I CAN DO BETTER
at first the band started playing the melody of Innocence, then i was like
"OMG! its played so early?"
then when Avril came back on, the band played I can do better, the transition was SOOOOO nice!!
and yel told me " Avril dint laugh!"

cus as u guys know, Avril had a little giggle at the start of I can do better in the Track of the Album. hahha.

then! Khadijah came from nowhere (actually the side, cus she sat at my row too d:) and pulled me out of my seat.
she pulled me to the front.
it was wow-ish.

I HAD A TOTALLY AWESOME VIEW MAN!
I WAS AT THE FRONT,
not the middle but the side,
HOWEVER, thats all i needed.
ALL I WANTED, was TO BE ABLE TO SEE AVRIL's FACE. not on the screen but her real person.

then Avril took out her guitar! and started MY HAPPY ENDING
we all sang along!
it was friggin nice! lalala.
first time i heard MY HAPPY ENDING WITHOUT WATCHING HER BEHIND A SCREEN

DON'T TELL ME
this song has so much memories for me.
she said that this song goes out to all the girls cause of the meaning of the song. haha. and i was like HELL YEA!haha.

IM WITH YOU
this song is soo beautiful, i could hear it over and over again! but i dont remember much about this song when she was playing it.
mayb i was daydreaming or smth? how can i be?

cause not many people in singapore knows about this song, so only Khadijah and this girl beside me were singing it.

then AVRIL WALKED TOWARDS MY SIDE OF THE STAGE.

SHE WAS SUPERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR NEAR!

so typical, everyone took out their cameras hoping to get a close up pic of her.
but for ME I DID NOT attempt to take any.
muahahha.

cause my camera died on me zzzzzzzzz

she was like superrr near!
I WAS THE ONLY ONE JUMPING AND SINGING WITH HER.
cause everyone taking photo.

i just stunned there.
then i hit Khadijah really hard

i was like speechless and like trying to show that i had eyecontact with AVRIL!!!

then i was SMILING TO MYSELF. muahaha

i think because i was the only one that was jumping and seemed to be singing the song with her, she got her attention on me!

so avril kinda disappeared for awhile.
THEN A PINK PIANO WAS PUSHED OUT!
i was like YAY! its WHEN YOU'RE GONE!
yupps!
and she sat down and played.
it was beautiful.i was totally captivated.
i listened very carefully, cus i really wanted to rmb her singing this song live.
besides, i cldnt see anything as the piano was blocking my view of her. haha

SHES SO BEAUTIFUL. like an angel

MY FAV SONG ON TBDT!
i recorded it down on my phone.
i got even more mesmerised by her when she played this.
totally FLEW TO HEAVEN.
a pity she dint sing the full song.
Also at the very high part, she got the crowd to sing.
i could see she was really tired. although she was smiling, her eyes were tired i could tell

HOT
acoustic! i read some of the reviews and some bandaiders from other countries said HOT was acoustic,
i cldnt imagine how it was going to be.

OMG, it was awesome!

Jim really played the guitar really well!
im impressed!
i hav it recorded down too.

i tink i was daydreaming at this song too, cant rmb much.
haha!

BAD REPUTATION
they played the video while avril went backstage.
i dont tink many people know she sang a cover of this song.
a few around me was like "new song!"

THE BEST DAMN THING
the band started playing the start of The best damn thing.
then Avril came out from the dark shouting

LET ME HEAR U SAY HEY HEY HEY!

and she repeated that many times and the crowd was enjoying it all
then at the
Give me an "A" that part,
she said " OK SINGAPORE! i want you guys to repeat what i say!"
and
she said "Now louder"
after the first set of A-V-R-I-L.
which i thot sounded very cute. haha!

EVERYTHING BACK BUT YOU
this song is awesome live!
i dint expect it to sound so FUN! haha.
the BITCH SLUT PSYCHO BABE became HEY HEY PSYCHO BABE =.= haha.

I like this song too!
but this girl beside me went "eww, i hate this song."
im like WTF, i LOVE EVERY AVRIL SONG, how dare u say that in front of me.

i can never forget what she said during this song.
she said

and everyone shouted COMPLICATED!

it was awesome.
we all sang along really loudly.
if only Evan was here to play the guitar with her

i tink she said the same thing at the other concerts too.
she said
"HEY GUYS! wanna see me play the drums?
*crowd screams*
OK! i'll play the drums for u!"
haha.
and she did!

haha. she's really talented man.thats why i love her. muahahha

this song really rocked the stadium.

the guitar riffs parts at the start she raised her hands to make the crowd cheer~
then she put it down and everyone quiet down.

then she raised!
then she put down and placed her fingers over her lips and kinda gave a cute frown to get everyone quiet.

haha!
then she raise, down, raise, down.

THEN SHE BLEW A KISS TO THE CROWD!

haha! i had a recording of that.
and i heard myself saying " OMG! I WANT THAT KISS!" hahaha!

GIRLFRIEND REMIX
there was some technical problem when they played the song.
it went "Lil mama and Avril Lavigne,"
then it stopped.

then Sofi and the other dancers they were suppose to start a dance, but when the music stopped abruptly, they stunned for a moment.

I REALLY MUST APPLAUD SOFI.

she got the crowd going at the sudden silence.
haha.
the dancers started jumping around the stage,
and showed the " i cant hear you" gesture to make the crowd cheer.

THEN THE MUSIC CAME BACK ON.
and they started their dance
SOFI ROCKS!

then AVRIL STARTED THE RAP AT THE SECOND VERSE!soooooooooooooo COOOOL!

i tried to rap along with her, haha. but i cldnt really get the words out so fast.

SK8er BOI
when this song came, me and Khadijah stared at each other and sighed.
we knew it was the last song

Avril went " THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH! FOR BEING SUCH A ROCKING CROWD (or smth like that) AND I HOPE YOU GUYS HAD A GOOD TIME!"
and started Sk8er boi.

we sang along really loud
cus its like The Avril Anthem.

then when it ended,
she said "THANK YOU SINGAPORE!"
and after a few pauses.

she said

I LOVE YOU!

omg, i sooo had that recorded. haha

and poof. she was gone.

Everyone was like OH SHIT!
its the end.

then me and Khadijah shouted ENCORE ENCORE ENCORE! but only managed to get a few people to shout.

thats y i say the crowd sucked. haha.

then the bands went off the stage, the crew came and cleared the stuff

IT WAS OVER.

IT ENDED AT 10.31pm

IM DISAPPOINTED YET HAPPY AT THE SAME TIME, mixed feelings.

Disappointed:
After the concert, i met the guys frm Styles From Beyond.
They passed me the stuff that was autographed.

i was looking forward to see what message Avril wrote for me!

but to my disappointment, she did not write a personal msg for me.
They told me that Avril seemed to be pretty moody when they went for Meet and Greet, she dint want to talk, and seemed tired.
The horrible thing was they couldnt even get a proper photo, they just had a snap when they're werent even ready.
oh man.
i feel so bad for them.
but they did pass the stuff to avril for me.
and Avril signed on the promo paper too

and at the back where i wrote " TO MARILYN:"
the guys frm Styles From Beyond wrote me a msg.

it said:

Hey there Marilyn,we are sincerely sorry that we dint get Avril to write you a personal msg. However, we tried our best and managed to get her autograph for you.
From Styles From Beyond.

i was happy that they dint return me an empty paper.
haha. so yupps really must THANK THEM!

HAPPY:
well, i managed to get AVRIL LOOK AT ME!
and i passed my presents! (only a matter of whether she'll appreciate them )
and I GOT AN AUTOGRAPH!
YAY

so after the concert, i couldnt stay to wait for avril i have school the next day.
i got home at 12.43am. which was alrdy 8th Sept.

i was too excited to sleep.
so i was kept awake till 3am.
and therefore only had 3 hours of sleep. zzzzzz
